United Family (UF) embarked on a memorable journey from Accra to Keta, combining exploration, recreation, friendship and meaningful conversations about our commitment to community service.
Our journey began in Accra, taking us through the Anyanui Estuary, where members enjoyed a boat ride and experienced the natural beauty of the area. We then continued to Keta’s Emancipation Beach, where members participated in various games and sporting activities while enjoying the beach environment.
As the day came to an end, members gathered around a bonfire, creating a relaxed atmosphere for reflection and meaningful conversations. During the bonfire, members shared their individual goals, aspirations and visions for the future. We also discussed how United Family could strengthen its charitable activities and continue making a positive difference in communities.
It was also during the bonfire discussion that members discussed the organization’s next charity project: the donation of exercise books and stationery to less-privileged learners at Akenkaase Basic School in the Eastern Region. Members discussed how the upcoming donation could be organized and how UF could continue supporting learners who need educational materials.
The Keta trip was therefore more than just an outing. It provided an opportunity for members to relax, discover, connect, reflect and plan for the future, while renewing our shared commitment to charity and community development.
